Beer Overview

Moxee-Moron
Imperial Session IPA
The city of Moxee, WA, is in the heart of the Yakima Valley hop growing region and this Imperial Session IPA—a style contradiction—honors the Pacific Northwest’s hop-bomb heritage. Moxee-Moron features hops in the mash, the kettle, the Hop Torpedo, and the fermenter for ultra-complex hop aromas and flavors in an ironically named package.

As a brewery that isn’t even three years old, Bale Breaker was honored (and shocked!) to get the call from Ken Grossman asking us to be the captain for the Northwest region – especially since (in our humble opinion) our region includes the sickest beer states of Washington, Oregon, and Colorado (no one cares about Wyoming, right Melvin?). Because of this, it was difficult to narrow our selection of team members to four, but we ended up selecting breweries that we admire, not only because they brew spectacular beer and are pretty rad dudes, but because they share our philosophy of brewing deliciously hoppy NW-style beers. Since we aren’t all nationally distributed, our team decided to stick to what we do best (hoppy beers, duh) and use Beer Camp Across America as an opportunity to show the nation what the up-and-coming breweries of the NW can do!
