Southwest Collaborators

On behalf of my team, we're honored to be a part of this year's Beer Camp Across America! Assembling the team was a dream come true. Jeff Bagby and Tomme Arthur have not only been great friends and mentors to me, but they've also helped define the beer culture in our region. Smog City and Societe have amazing brewing pedigrees and brew a wide range of styles— they're also world-class people.

My teammates and I have similar sensibilities when it comes to the art/science balance of brewing. We're all pragmatic perfectionists with similar influences and inspirations. While hoppy beers are a big part of all of our portfolios, we love stouts. So we figured why not have the best of both worlds and brew a hoppy American stout!

Working with my teammates has been nothing short of spectacular. Formulating the recipe together gave everyone a chance for creative input; there's a little bit of all of us in this beer. We can't wait to go national with this mighty brew!
